EXPLORE YOUR IDEA FOR A FOOD OR BEVERAGE BUSINESS WITH THE REGION’S PREMIER FOOD BUSINESS INCUBATOR — VIRTUALLY!

Introducing First Course, our NEW all-online, 4-part series of classes and workshops designed to help food and beverage entrepreneurs start and grow their companies. Our goal is to provide you with real-world guidance that can help you to move your idea from product – to brand – to business, understand how to identify market potential and your target customer, get clarity on your strengths and weaknesses as an entrepreneur, and gain a new perspective on the landscape of the local food economy.

We are thrilled to offer this inaugural series as free & open to the public, (there is no Hope & Main membership requirement to attend).

Log-in and learn about a broad number of crucial topics related to starting and growing a food business. The grand finale (on Thursday, August 6) will be a panel discussion featuring local food & beverage entrepreneurs offering first-hand insight from other food local entrepreneurs and industry experts on what “a day in the life” can look like, key learnings that can’t be taught in school, and the largest challenges and successes that entrepreneurship has brought to these business owners.

All First Course classes will be held virtually via the free online tool Zoom.  A link will be circulated to registered attendees 24 hours prior to class.

Attendees should register for each session individually. Be sure to sign up for ALL of these First Course dates:

  1. MONDAY, 8/3 – Developing your Roadmap with the Lean Business Canvas
  2. TUESDAY, 8/4 – Legal Considerations for Food and Beverage Businesses
  3. WEDNESDAY, 8/5 – Where to Start: Market Research
