Get a head start on your business with the First Course, where you’ll learn some key concepts of operating in the food industry.
The purpose of the Hope & Main First Course is two-fold:
1. To introduce emerging entrepreneurs to the topics of business planning, branding, labeling, costing/pricing, sales, and other start-up fundamentals.
2. To establish a sense of community among entrepreneurs at Hope & Main. In the environment of a cohort, new members are encouraged to engage in peer-to-peer learning and camaraderie.
The First Course is held for five consecutive Wednesdays at 5:30 pm. Each class runs between 90 minutes and 2 hours. Two classes are held in person; three are held on zoom.
