Every Wednesday from 4pm – 7pm
This is MORE THAN a farmer’s market! Hope & Main’s Makers Markets is a marketplace to engage the public in our nonprofit mission, helping us foster a community of growing and thriving food & beverage companies! Did you know there are more than 100 active businesses in our kitchens producing everything from chocolate chip cookies to hot sauce, mustard to granola, ice cream to salsa, and everything you can imagine in between. Our Makers Markets are a place for the member businesses to meet new customers and build their fan base, and a welcome opportunity for you to discover your next foodie-crush.
During each market we’ll have live music, hot dinner options from local chefs, craft cocktails & mocktails, fresh flowers and produce, desserts, packaged goods, activities and prizes for your kids, and so much more.
Ample market parking is available at the Franklin St. Lot across from the Hope & Main Building. We have a bike rack in the back yard, and we encourage public transportation as well.
We proudly accept SNAP and participate in the RI Bonus Bucks program, which gives you FREE tokens to spend on fresh produce.

For the first time ever, we’ll be selling ready to eat meals at the markets!
Each week a different Hope & Main chef will prepare a meal and a limited number will be available to enjoy on site. Meals are $10 each, but if you have capacity, an additional donation of $5 or $10 will allow us to give away the same meal (frozen) to one of our community partners. Through the Main Street Meals program, we give out 350 frozen meals weekly to Rhode Islanders who are food insecure.
Our Buy a meal, Give a meal program is still active too, and you may also buy or receive a frozen meal from the Welcome Tent.
Because of supporters like you, we’ve been able to donate more than 70,000 meals since the program began in 2020 (previously called Nourish Our Neighbors). It is our hope that selling these delicious, locally sourced meals hot this summer will introduce new supporters to the year-round program. Come over for dinner!

SNAP, WIC & SENIOR CITIZEN VOUCHERS WELCOME
Over half of all farmers markets in our state provide a Bonus Bucks match for EBT dollars — and we’re one of them! Too many of our neighbors are facing food insecurity. In order to make Schoolyard Market more accessible to everyone we have joined forces with Farm Fresh Rhode Island to offer the Bonus Bucks program. Shoppers can use their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for groceries at participating farmers markets, and in turn, the markets match 100% of those funds to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables. That’s double the SNAP dollars to spend at the farmers market! Farm Fresh RI’s Bonus Bucks don’t expire and can be used at all participating farmers markets, but we hope you’ll spend most of them here!

Music and food go together so well that we thought we ought to invite local musicians and DJs to play for you all summer long.

We are located at 691 Main Street, Warren, RI 02885. Parking is free and plentiful in the neighborhood and we’re a direct stop on RIPTA #60. Not into motorized transportation? Note that we’re across the street from the East Bay Bike Path at the Franklin Street intersection.
