THIS WEEK’S BUY ONE / GIVE ONE MEAL IS: Jamaican-Style Ital (Vegan) Stew

A staple vegetarian or vegan stew popularized by Rastafarians consisting of vegetables, herbs, and spices simmered in a rich and ever so slightly spicy coconut broth. This stew contains sweet potatoes, yellow plantains, chayote squash, cassava kidney beans, onions and scallions and enhanced with allspice and thyme. This dish contains no meat or dairy and contains local veggies from Schartner Farm and Our Kids Farm.

HOW IT WORKS
The number of meals (“Tickets”) you purchase below will be reserved for you to pick up and enjoy on Wednesday December 13th from 4pm-6pm at Hope & Main. Park in the back parking lot and follow the signage! For every BOGO meal you purchase and enjoy at home, we will reserve one to distribute for free to our community partners. Meals are served frozen and ready-to-heat and eat at home.
